Aluminum Grates allow easy air circulation in your window wells, keep large debris out of your well, and make fresh air circulation easy – no need to remove the window well cover. Largest sizes are lightweight and egress compliant! Supports up to 400 pounds static weight. Please keep in mind that your cover may vary from a similar sized example due to engineering requirements and design.

Accessories--Powder Coat Paint

As shown by the photos on this page, a powder coat finish will help give your Aluminum Grate an extra measure of protection, and a pleasing look to finish off your yard project. Most common colors are Gray, Black or White, but Custom Colors are available.

TOP COVERS

Our tough polycarbonate Top Covers are made to fit on top of any window well grates to provide extra protection from rain and debris but snap off for easy ventilation. Top Covers can be made in either Sloped or Flat style, and can also be hinged. Top Covers can be made to fit any size grate we manufacture or the shape of your existing grate. Please note that Top Covers are not made to bear weight on their own, so if you desire to discard your existing grate please consider a Sloped or Flat cover.

Accessories--Locks and Front Panel

Photo 1 shows an installed grate lock that will help prevent unauthorized access to your home. The second photo shows how escape is possible by pulling the pin protected by the flanges.

The third photo shows a unique Front Panel we created for rectangular plastic wells that helps keep out debris, animals and moisture. A Front Panel can be added to any type of window well cover we sell.

Accessories--Escape Hatch

Escape Hatches are an crucially important option for large aluminum grates, as they are too heavy to be egress compliant. Escape Hatches are also securable from the inside to help prevent unauthorized access. Hatch placement is taken into consideration during the design process, and you will receive a CAD for approval before manufacturing takes place.
