Our Steel Grates are the preferred cover for small window wells as the heavier weight will keep them in place in windy areas (compared to aluminum grates) and are designed to YOUR measurements to fit any shape, size, and style of window well.

All steel window well grates are incredibly durable but if your grate is intended for a high traffic area, we recommend a commercial-grade grate that will support up to 100 pounds per square foot.

• Powder coat finishes are standard in gray and black. White and other custom powder coat colors are also available at additional cost to match most paint schemes.
• The residential steel grates support up to 40 pounds per square foot.
• The Commercial Grade steel grate covers support up to 100 pounds per square foot.
• Egress code-compliant options are available with egress fire escape hatches in egress sized steel grates.
